It
gives me an immense pleasure to endorse Sunil
Ji Fotedar as KOA's future president.
Sunil
Ji is a model of integrity and openness, and
combines these traits with a creative mind,
modesty, fine technical skills, and a deep desire
to learn from others. This is an outstanding blend
of characteristics for a KOA President. His ability
to motivate a group of people toward a common goal
sets him apart in the race.
He
is not just passionate about our community
and its cultural heritage, but also loyal to
the community's agenda. I cannot imagine a finer
candidate than him and often wonder why he didn't
think of it earlier.
Thanks
to him, our rich cultural heritage, religion,
language, books, music are in tact and just a
click away. We as a dispersed community, and
especially our future generations will always feel
indebted to him for providing everything about
Kashmir on the information highway. This is a
greatest and noblest gift anyone can ever give to
his community.
All
this requires a selfless passion, tremendous
dedication and sacrificing hundreds of hours of
ones personal time. He has already demonstrated
his commitment to "Promote,
Preserve, and Protect Kashmiri Pandit Ethnic and
Socio-Cultural Heritage" the mission of KOA.
Now is the time to take it further and lead the
community.
Although
I have witnessed and covered the brutal face
of terrorism in Kashmir , yet I have many a
times learnt great deal about so many
intricate aspects of valley from him. Talk
to him on anything and you will know that he has a
deep knowledge about the issues, and just one
priority in mind and that is to "Preserve our
Past" and the "Cause of Kashmiri Pandits."
By
nature, he is neither a career
politician nor is he manipulative. His work
ethics and values reflect his commitment and
dedication ---- a basic requirement for a
community leader.
A
vote for Sunil Ji will be a vote for high
achievement in KOA because he has always given his
100 percent to whatever he does for the community,
right from the days of exodus of KPs in Kashmir.
Personally
I've always been impressed with his work, commitment,
vision and creativity and am delighted
to support his candidacy. He is a great resource
for our community. Sunil Ji has my
unequivocal support based on both his illustrious
past involvement in KOA, and his admirable
platform.
I
would therefore appeal to all right-thinking
members of our community to believe in him and
cast their valuable vote for him. It is time
for change, give it a best shot and don't
they say "change is always good"!
