Respected Sunil ji:

Namaskar,

Kamlesh Tufchi Kindly allow me put forth some personal opinion about the latest news that you are running in for the presidential elections of KOA - a forum which represents us at international level. I think this post needs a dynamic, culturally conscious and a person with unblemished track record like you.

PRAKRITI KRIYAMANANI………………………….AHAM ITI MANYATE

Nature is doing its duty based on the dual principle of qualities and actions. But we at times think that it is we who are doing it (Sri Geeta ji)

A person's self is some total of all that he can call his. The self includes, among other things, a system of ideas, attitudes, values, and the commitments. The self is a person’s total subjective experience and significance.

These observations of mine are based on fact that you have been relentlessly working in the direction of pursuing cause of Kashmiri Pandits all over the world through different Web-sites and your personal one-to-one contacts.

Those who know you can easily judge your capabilities to hold this post the clarity and the strength of your principals can be judged by the fact that you never failed in and never entertained the closeness of the people who were instrumental in forcing an exodus upon us.

At times you look hard and rational because of your principled stand, but that is what we need and expect of a person who is going to represent our distinctiveness in the ocean of different cultures.

You have always been conscious of the responsibilities attached with such post and the pulls and pressures of the organizational politics.

In the end I want to add that  you have a basic and the most important qualification to hold this post and that is your knowledge about the needs of camp and non-camp Kashmiri Pandits, the needs of deprived children, the old age people and at the same time you know the politics of international representation our community needs.

In this context I want to draw your attention about the Universal Declaration of human rights adopted and proclaims by U N General Assembly which were never persuaded by us. There are many questions that need answers. Let us begin with a rhetorical one: How different are we from our ancestors and why? Don’t we need to understand the overall impact of the forced exodus and develop a sense of belonging to our community on the basis of shared values and historical antecedents? How are we to create a road map that will help us find our way without getting lost and give us the strength to enjoy our cultural life?

I wish all the people in KOA a good and prosperous time in the coming time.

Namaskar,

Kamlesh Tufchi
