a spirited membership outreach on Day 1
- –Decentralize
the organization and empower zonal directors and
chapter presidents

long-pending amendment of bylaws within 100 days
- –Reinforce
existing KOA programs and increase
accountability
- –Create
a “Welcome to the USA” package for newly
arrived KPs
- –Create
a network of willing KP professionals to assist
each other
- •Relentless
focus on children, teenagers, and youth in the US
- –Create
youth chapters, with youth leadership,
within 100 days
- –Encourage
youth to take leadership roles in national and
regional events (e.g., annual camp, convention,
etc)
- –Enable
networking within youth, including meaningful
interactions with seniors
- •Start
a KOA endowment with the ultimate goal of raising
$1M to support KOA programs
- –Establish
KOA's credibility to enable fund-raising
on this scale
- •Develop
beneficial alliances with like-minded
organizations worldwide
- –I
will invoke my years of association with KP and
other Indian organizations worldwide to strengthen
our community
- •Communicate,
truthfully and honestly, to the community under
all circumstances

will report to the community, in writing, every 90
days

will restore KOA’s website to its past position
of being a top Kashmiri website
